RESOLUTION NO. 2026-01 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE MARY LOU REBER COMMUNITY BEACON OF EXCELLENCE AWARD WHEREAS, Mary Lou Reber dedicated countless hours of service, leadership, and volunteerism to the Watson Run Community Association, consistently demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the betterment of the community and the well-being of its residents; and WHEREAS, throughout her years of service, Mary Lou Reber exemplified the highest standards of integrity, kindness, professionalism, civic responsibility, and community engagement; and WHEREAS, her contributions have had a lasting and meaningful impact on the Watson Run Community Association, leaving a legacy of service that continues to inspire residents, volunteers, and community leaders; and WHEREAS, Woo-Cat Martin Management desires to recognize and honor Mary Lou Reber’s exceptional public service and preserve her legacy for future generations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Woo-Cat Martin Management hereby establishes the Mary Lou Reber Community Beacon of Excellence Award as a permanent annual recognition honoring individuals who demonstrate outstanding dedication, volunteerism, leadership, and service to their community in a manner reflective of Mary Lou Reber’s exemplary example. Award Purpose The purpose of the Mary Lou Reber Community Beacon of Excellence Award is to: *Honor the legacy and contributions of Mary Lou Reber. *Recognize individuals whose actions have significantly enhanced the quality of life within their community. *Encourage a culture of volunteerism, civic engagement, and selfless service. *Inspire current and future community members to serve with the same passion, commitment, and generosity exemplified by Mary Lou Reber. Award Criteria Recipients of the Mary Lou Reber Community Beacon of Excellence Award shall be individuals who: *Demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service; *Exhibit integrity, compassion, and leadership; *Make meaningful and lasting contributions to their community; *Serve others without expectation of personal recognition or reward; and Embody the spirit and values exemplified by Mary Lou Reber. Presentation of Award Mary Lou Reber Community Beacon of Excellence Award shall be presented annually to a deserving individual selected by the Woo-Cat Martin Management team. The recipient shall receive a commemorative plaque and their name added to the Mary Lou Reber Community Beacon of Excellence recognition board. Legacy The establishment of this award serves as a lasting tribute to Mary Lou Reber and ensures that her extraordinary example of community service remains an enduring inspiration within the Watson Run Community Association and echos throughout all of Woo-Cat Martin’s communities. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. ADOPTED this 30th day of May 2026.
